The bear claw screws is a double-headed screw primarily for drywall. Its double head design forms a neck that fits any standard keyhole or cutout, and a sharp self-drilling tip conveniently allows you to skip the drilling process. With a bear claw screw, no pilot hole and wall anchor is required—just install it easily with a Phillips screwdriver.

Use in conjunction with sawtooth hangers, wire, or D-ring hangers
On the wall, mark the position where you’d like to install the screw.
Drill a 1/8" pilot hole if your wall is concrete, brick, or masonry. For drywall and other wall types, skip to step 3.
Install a wall anchor if your frame is over 30 lbs. or if not installing on wood stud.
Drive the bear claw screw into the wall using a screwdriver.
Hang your frame.
