Bear Claw Screw Hanger - Gold

S-SC-BEARGX

Size: 10 Pack ($0.41 Each)

About the product

The bear claw screw is a double-headed screw primarily for drywall. Its double head design forms a neck that fits any standard keyhole or cutout, and a sharp self-drilling tip conveniently allows you to skip the drilling process. With a bear claw screw, no pilot hole and wall anchor is required—just install it easily with a Phillips screwdriver.

  • Gold double-headed screw wall hangers and keyhole hangers for hanging pictures and wall decor on drywall, lath, plaster, or wood

  • Measures 1 3/16” long, shaft measures 3/16”, and head measures 0.29” in diameter

  • Supports up to 30 lbs (drywall, plaster) and up to 100 lbs (wood studs)

  • Gold finish

  • Use in conjunction with sawtooth hangers, wire, or D-ring hangers

Instructions

  1. On the wall, mark the position where you’d like to install the screw.

  2. Drill a 1/8" pilot hole if your wall is concrete, brick, or masonry. For drywall and other wall types, skip to step 3.

  3. Install a wall anchor if your frame is over 30 lbs. or if not installing on wood stud.

  4. Drive the bear claw screw into the wall using a screwdriver.

  5. Hang your frame.
