A security wrench is a thin metal tool with an extra-long handle and a unique opening for the T-head security screw. It’s essential in the final step of locking and unlocking a frame on the wall using a security kit, with the long variant reaching six inches further behind the artwork than the regular-sized wrench. The security wrench makes installation quicker, prevents scuffed walls, and can be used as often as needed with all Picture Hang Solutions security hardware.

To lock a picture to the wall:
Locate the T-head screw behind the frame.
Hold the wrench with the slot positioned horizontally.
Slide the wrench over the head of the T-head screw.
Turn the screw clockwise.
To unlock a picture from the wall:
Locate the T-head screw behind the frame.
Hold the wrench with the slot positioned horizontally.
Slide the wrench over the head of the T-head screw.
Turn the screw counterclockwise.
