Plastic Headed Tack Glide

S-HWR-TACK-8

Size: 8 pack ($0.24 each)

About the product

Plastic tack glides help maintain the condition of floors and furniture by keeping tables, chairs, etc. in place and preventing them from sliding or moving. They have circular PTFE plastic heads with a built-in nail that punctures wood.  These floor protectors help shield your floor against scratches, scuff marks, and damage, keeping them looking like new while allowing for easy movement of furniture when needed.

    • Plastic headed tack glide for stools, tables, and chairs on finished surfaces such as hardwood or tile

    • Measures 9/16” wide and 3/16” thick

    • Premium white polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE/HDPE)

    Instructions

    1. Shift the furniture or item on its side or upside down, exposing the legs or feet on which the tacks will be installed.

    2. Position the tack glide so that the nail sits in the middle of the foot of the leg.

    3. Hammer the tack into the wood until the white head hits the foot.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Q What products are in the miscellaneous collection?

This collection includes picture hanging tools and hardware that don't fit into our main categories: canvas offset clips, frame corner braces, spring clips (Z-clips), mirror clips, plate hangers, furniture leveling feet, felt pads, clip-it strips, and mini easels. These products complement your main hanging hardware.

Q What are canvas offset clips used for?

Canvas offset clips secure a stretched canvas inside a frame without adhesive or permanent fastening. They come in 1/8-inch, 1/4-inch, and 1/2-inch sizes to accommodate different canvas depths. The clip grips the frame edge and presses against the canvas stretcher bar to hold it in place.

Q How do plate hangers work?

Plate hangers use spring-loaded wire arms that grip the rim of a decorative plate, allowing you to hang it on the wall like a picture. Choose the right size hanger to match your plate's diameter for a secure fit.

Q What are spring clips (Z-clips) used for?

Spring clips, also called Z-clips, are used to secure glass, backing, or panels inside picture frames and window screens. They fit into a 3/8-inch channel and apply spring tension to hold components firmly in place.

Q Do you sell furniture protection products?

Yes. Our miscellaneous collection includes furniture leveling feet and screw-on furniture felt pads that protect floor surfaces from scratches and help level uneven furniture. These are sold individually and in bulk.
