Furniture anti-tip kits are preventive safety hardware kits that keep large, heavy objects from falling over and causing accidents. The kit is perfect for fastening top-heavy shelves, cabinets, and TVs in home settings with kids or busy areas such as commercial or business settings. One bracket is anchored on the wall and the other on the furniture, and they're connected with a galvanized steel cable.

Two (2) anti-tip furniture brackets
One (1) steel cable
Two (2) clevis pins
Two (2) locking pins
Four (4) #8 screws
Aircraft-grade galvanized steel
Drill a small hole in the upper back portion of the furniture.
Place the first bracket on a flat surface.
Put the cable in between the bracket holes and insert a clevis pin through the three holes.
Then, secure the other side of the bracket hole with a locking pin.
Mount the bracket to the underside of the furniture top using the screws.
Place the other end of the loop into the hole leading to the wall. We recommend two anti-tip kits for extra large furniture and equipment, installed on both sides.
Use a stud finder to find a stud in the wall and drill a hole.
Install the second bracket vertically by screwing it in place.
Attach the cable through the bracket holes and insert the second clevis pin through the three holes. Then secure it with the locking pin.
