About the Cleat 10 inch - pair

  • A 10-inch pair of cleats with the Z bar cleat profile. Supports 85 lbs.  Best used for small to medium pictures, art, mirrors, and other wall decor.
  • Holes are one inch on center  and alternate from large to small-sized holes. Alternating holes allow you to easily level the French cleat and/or use larger screws in studs.
  • Small screw hole accommodates up to #8 screw and large screw hole accommodates up to #12 screw.
  • Aluminum bar cleat is 3/32 inch thick and made of aircraft-grade aluminum. Each French cleat is 1.25 inch tall. When interlocked, the pair is 1.875 inches tall. Wall standoff is 1/4 inch.
  • You can cut an aluminum bar cleat to smaller lengths with any carbide tip saw. Note, the weight support is based on 100 pounds per linear foot of cleat.
