Black Anti-Slip Rubber Bumpers for Hanging Pictures

S-HWR-124-BXX

Size: 20 Pack ($0.15 Each)

About the product

Bumpers are small adhesive pads that act as protective cushions between two surfaces. Picture frame bumpers are useful in many day-to-day settings, helping to protect the wall from scratches, keep pictures flat against the wall, and protect furniture and other daily items. With a kiss-cut protective peel and stick backing, these rubber bumpers are an easy peel-off-and-stick-on application and one of the thinnest in the market. Apply them on glass, furniture, cutting boards, doors, cabinets, frames, mirrors, and electronics to dampen shock, vibration, noise, and provide a non-slip protective grip. No nails, screws, or drilling required.

    • Flat, cylindrical, black rubber bumpers best used on wood frames, lids, cabinets, and other home furniture as wall protectors, cabinet door silencers, and furniture feet

    • Measures 1/2" (12.7mm) in diameter and .140" (3.5mm) in height

    • High-quality 100% polyurethane with no added plasticizers, oils or fillers

    • Non-staining, non-marring, and crack-resistant synthetic rubber

    Instructions

1 Inch Square.1875 Height Clear Adhesive Rubber Feet

    1. Lay the frame face down on a blanket or soft surface.

    2. Wipe the bumper application area on the back side of the frame so it’s smooth, clean, free of debris, dry, and not greasy or oily.

    3. Place one bumper on each bottom corner of the frame. Bumpers on the top corners of the frame are optional.

Note: For metal frames, dome-style rubber bumpers should be applied on top of the steel corner connecting plate at each of the frame's bottom corners, while wood frames should be applied flat-style rubber bumpers close to but not over the edge of the frame at each bottom corner. If more standoff distance from the wall is required, use our higher cylindrical rubber bumpers.

    1. Pick rubber bumpers from the pad by grasping them on the sides between thumb and forefinger. Do not touch the bumper's adhesive surface.

    2. Press bumpers firmly into place on the frame or object. Once a bumper is in place, do not attempt to reposition it as this will ruin the adhesive bond.

    3. Hang the frame or object. Note: There is a 24-hour dwell time after bumper application before maximum adhesion is reached.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Q How do I install picture frame bumpers and what tools or hardware do I need?

To install bumpers, place the frame face down, then clean the back surface where they'll be placed. Make sure the frame corners are smooth, clean, and free of debris. Place one bumper on each side of the bottom corner of the frame, and make sure not to touch the bumper's adhesive side. Once applied, press firmly and allow to cure for 24 hours to reach maximum adhesion.

Q How do I remove bumpers?

To remove bumpers, gently lift a corner of the bumper using your finger nail. Peel the bumper slowly, pulling parallel to the surface rather than straight outward to minimize adhesive residue and tearing the frame backing. To remove adhesive residue, use a mild remover like isopropyl alchohol or an adhesive-safe cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the area.

Q Can I reuse bumpers after removing them?

Picture frame bumpers aren't meant to be reused since their adhesive weakens once removed. For the best grip and protection, it's best to use a new set each time.

Q What type of surface are wall bumpers compatible with?

Wall bumpers need a smooth, non-porous, clean, and dry surface free of debris and oil.

Q What kinds of frames or decor work best with bumpers?

Both rubber bumpers and felt bumpers are commonly used on the back of picture frames, artwork, signs, and plaques. They're also just as handy for other uses, like on electronics, cabinets, and glass tabletops. Read more about where you can use them here: 5 Purposes of Picture Hanging Bumpers
