About Security Wrench for T-Head Screw

A security wrench is a thin metal tool with a long handle and a unique opening for the T-head security screw. It’s essential in the final step of locking and unlocking a frame on the wall using a security kit, reaching two inches behind the artwork to make installation quicker and prevent scuffed walls. The security wrench can be used as often as needed with all Picture Hang Solutions security hardware.

Instructions

To lock a picture to the wall:

1. Locate the T-head screw behind the frame.

2. Hold the wrench with the slot positioned horizontally.

3. Slide the wrench over the head of the T-head screw.

4. Turn the screw clockwise.

To unlock a picture from the wall:

1. Locate the T-head screw behind the frame.

2. Hold the wrench with the slot positioned horizontally.

3. Slide the wrench over the head of the T-head screw.

4. Turn the screw counterclockwise.
