Brass 10 lb Hook

S-HWR-2332-10X

Size: 10 Pack ($0.50 each)

About the product

Brass hooks are reliable  picture hangers that provide additional holding power for pictures. They come with pointed brass nails to maximize wall support while leaving only a pin-sized hole on the wall to minimize wall damage. These professional  picture frame hangers are used often in art galleries and museums.

  • Brass-plated  picture hooks for hanging lightweight frames and pictures on drywall, wood panels, and plaster wall.

  • Measures ⅝” long and ⅜” wide along the nail socket, nail measures 1 ⅜”

  • Supports up to 10 lbs

  • Brass-plated with hardened blue steel nail

Instructions

  1. Mark the position of the hanger on the wall using a pencil, then hold the  picture hook in the marked position.

  2. Hammer the nail gently into the nail socket until the hook is flush against the wall. The raised nail socket on the hook will guide the nails into the wall at the proper 45-degree angle. Avoid over hammering as it can compromise the hook’s holding power and damage your wall.

  3. Hang the frame.

  4. To remove a brass-plated hook, pull the nail back at a 45-degree angle with a slight twisting motion using fingers or soft-faced pliers. Prying hooks away from the wall with a screwdriver or a similar tool will often damage the wall surface.

  5. To reuse a brass-plated hanger, ensure the hook and nail have not been bent or deformed.
