The SnapToggle anchor is an anchor system with a unique heavyweight design. Long plastic straps are attached to a small metal channel, which features a self-locking mechanism that allows you to remove the SnapToggle bolt without losing the anchor in the wall. Compared to wing toggles, SnapToggle anchors hold twice more weight and need a smaller hole in the wall, while also being reusable.
Heavy duty hollow wall anchors
Bolt measures 2 ½” long
Supports up to 1,080 lbs (concrete blocks) and up to 265 lbs (drywall)
Includes 3/16 -24 bolt
Drill a ½” hole in the wall.
Hold the metal channel flat against the plastic straps and insert the anchor into the hole.
Hold the end of the straps and pull towards you until the metal channel rests behind the wall.
Slide the cap along the straps until the flange is flush with the wall.
Snap off the plastic straps so they’re level with the flange of the cap.
Place your item over the anchor. Then insert and tighten the screw to secure it in place.
Reuse the SnapToggle anchor as needed.
