The Snap Skru anchor is a self-drilling drywall anchor with its own threading and a pointed shank that allows easy installation without drilling a pilot hole. This drywall anchor is shock-resistant, with a glass-filled nylon body and jaws that deliver strong vibration. The Snap Skru works best with an #8 screw but can also be used with other screws.
Self-drilling anchor for medium-weight applications on drywall
Measures 1 ⅝” long and 0.62” wide
Supports up to 45 lbs
Compatible with #8 screw, and alternatively with #6, #7 and #10 screws
Shock-resistant glass-filled nylon
Press the tip of the anchor into the drywall.
Drive it in with a screwdriver or screw gun until it stops flush with the wall.
Place the item you’re hanging over the anchor, then insert the screw in the anchor and tighten to secure it. Tip: The screw can also be removed and reinstalled while the anchor remains in the wall.
Listen for a “pop” from the anchor—this means it’s locked from the other side of the wall.
