Hardwall Plastic Hook Large

S-HWR-208X

Size: 10 Pack ($0.67 Each)

About the product

Hardwall  plastic hooks are an excellent solution for simple, lightweight applications on hard wall surfaces. Installation is quick and easy, requiring only a hammer, and the hooks leave minimal damage with only four small shallow holes in the wall.

  • Hardwall plastic hooks for hanging small decor and everyday items on concrete, cinderblock, thin plaster over concrete, soft smooth brick, soft stone, and hardwood
  • Measures 1 9/16” long and 5/16” wide
  • Supports up to 30 lbs
  • No additional hardware required

Instructions

  1. Place the back of a hardwall plastic hook against the wall and hold in position using your thumb and index finger. Make sure the wall surface is smooth so the back of the hook is in full contact with the wall. (Note the following incompatible wall types: drywall, traditional lath & plaster, stucco, soft wood, ceramic tile, formica, hard brick, hard natural stone)

  2. Hammer all of the pins into the wall simultaneously until they are flush against the base of the hook. Watch your fingers! Avoid over-hammering once the pins are flush as it will loosen the hook's hold and damage your wall.

  3. Hang your picture or item. Note: The weight of the object must pull straight down on the hook, parallel to the wall. Because the four self-contained pins on each hardwall plastic  picture hook are driven straight (90°) into the wall, any outward pull on the hook will compromise its holding power and can cause failure.

  4. To remove a hardwall plastic hook, slide a thin blade between the wall and the back of the hook and pry the hook off gently.

  5. Discard any removed hooks and do not reuse.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q How do I install brick and concrete hooks and what tools do I need?

Our brick and concrete hooks are designed for simple installation on hard substrates. Hardwall plastic hooks install with a simple tap using a hammer—hardened pins drive directly into concrete, brick, or block. Brick clips snap onto the lip of a brick with no drilling required. Steel utility hooks use included masonry nails. No power drill is needed for any of these options.

Q Can I remove brick and concrete hooks without damaging my walls?

Brick clips can be removed with no damage since they clamp onto the brick surface. Hardwall plastic hooks and steel utility hooks leave only small pin holes that are much less noticeable than drill holes. For completely damage-free hanging on brick, brick clips are the best option.

Q How much weight can brick and concrete hooks safely hold?

Weight capacity depends on the hook type. Our hardwall hooks come in small and large sizes, and the steel utility hook supports up to 30 lbs. Check each product listing for the specific weight rating.

Q What wall types are brick and concrete hooks compatible with?

These hooks are designed for hard substrates where standard drywall hooks won't work: concrete walls, brick, cinderblock, stone, and hardwood surfaces. They are not intended for drywall or plaster—for those wall types, see our drywall hooks collection.

Q What kinds of frames or decor work best with brick and concrete hooks?

These hooks work with any frame or decor that uses hook-and-wire hanging, including picture frames, mirrors, and signs. They are popular in lofts, basements, industrial spaces, and outdoor areas where walls are concrete, brick, or stone.
